Solo traveler paradise
I contacted Jeff and Cynthia prior to my departure, since I didn't want to ride the Dragon in the rain. Cynthia was really understanding and offered me a rain check, which was excellent given the terrible rainfall from Helene. The Double Room with Mountain View was clean and cozy. I felt like I was at home! The breakfast, oh man, every morning was a delight—so many options and always well-prepared.
It wasn’t cheap, but honestly, worth it.

outdoor hot tub, Double Room with Private Bathroom, beautiful grounds
Shared bathroom is a hassle!!! A little more variety in breakfast would be appreciated!!! It's surprising that no complimentary gesture was offered for such an anticipated stay!!!

While the room was great, the shared bathroom option might not be for everyone. a bit more privacy could enhance the experience. On top of that, having only two nights felt a little rushed—more time to explore the surroundings would have been ideal.

i half thought about giving this place a good review, but couldn't let it slide. the shared bathroom was an absolute chore, no one wants to share. plus, the breakfast, while decent, could use some variety—every morning was almost the same. i was also shocked there wasn't a complimentary gesture for such a 'luxurious' stay here. so overrated.
